Kike-Kcho Restaurant

Kike-Kcho Restaurant, Matanzas

Daily 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

The Kike-Kacho Restaurant is likely to be considered as the stand-out venue of the Marina Gaviota’s soothed boardwalk. With a privileged over-piles setting in Varadero’s high-end marina and resort, this is a fashionable Miami-style restaurant overlooking the astonishing canals and slips of Cuba’s biggest Marina.

Specialized in gourmet seafood, the Kike-Kacho main feature is the live lobster display in a sunken crate, for guests to select their own fresh food. In its main saloon, the restaurant houses a rather interesting scale model of the whole complex, which may as well suit guests for an entertaining moment of “look, here we are”.

In addition to the decoration, it is noticeable the paddle-based design furniture, being paddles a common motif in Alexis “Kcho” Leyva’s works of art. Kcho, as he is better known, is an accomplished Cuban artist and proud owner of the restaurant. In sum, nice food, ambiance and setting, although not recommended to bring your pet lobster with you.
