La Fontana: A Quintessential Place of Havana Gastronomy
Since its foundation in 1995, the paladar La Fontana has become one of the quintessential places of habanera gastronomy. Not surprisingly, it is very positively referenced by recognized tour guides like Trip Advisor and Lonely Planet, or visited by international stars such as Jay Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Joaquín Sabina or the Buena Vista Social Club diva, Omara Portuondo.
With an exquisite decoration that stands out for its naturalness, the salons of La Fontana always invite to a quiet and harmonious evening. In addition, they can be reserved for special activities, such as parties for quinceañeras, weddings, baptisms or business meetings.
As for the menu, it emphasizes its attachment to the national culinary tradition, although also opens its doors to international recipes of great acceptance. Among the main dishes of the house are the Tender goat, the shrimp Teriyaki, the rabbit on carrot, salvia and rosemary sauce; the pork loin Fontana and the grilled whole snapper, although the list of delights is way more extensive.
In the bar you can find a wide range of drinks and national and international drinks, as well as a well-managed wine list. You can also enjoy live performances with Cuban music.
