No matter how far you are from the craft workers and their products, you’ll notice tons of vivid paintings that perfectly describe the Tropic visual feeling. As usual, there are street landscapes full of Old American Cars and lovely people walking, but don’t despair, my friend, you still are on time to get something out of ordinary like portraits in watercolour, charcoal drawing and… if you’re crazy about Cuban plastic artists, maybe you find a good copy at bargain of one of your favourites: Carlos Manuel, Amelia Peláez, Wilfredo Lam…

Still, if you’re not looking for paintings, in fact, you still haven’t figured out what to buy, the good news is all kind of handicraft are available: funny bags made of weave, leather shoes, keys ring with the Cuban flag, tiny images of Ché Guevara, carving fans, bracelets and necklaces made of seed and mother-of-pearl, earthenware dishes adorned with quaint drawings, and so much more. Don’t step back because the ferocious lions watching the Paseo entrance; enjoy the promenade from one point to another, and if it’s possible, take with you the finest memory.
