After the visiting the Yayabo River’s bridge, only remnant of its kind from the colonial period of Cuba, you can head toward a modest tavern that rises on Jesus Menéndez street #106, in Sancti Spiritu. Opened every day from 9 a.m. to 23.00 p.m. o’clock, it promises to surprise its visitors with a variety of tapas and typical Iberian plates.

The cuisine’s specialty is without doubts the plates made with fresh cheeses, sausages and olives, seasoned with a special secrets of the Cuban cookery.

The Tavern Yayabo recreates the decoration of the typical Spanish taverns, existing a variety of spaces where to refresh oneself, either sitting in the bar, in the interior little tables or enjoying a good wine in the terrace from where you can see to the majestic River Yayabo.
