A place in the Villa Clara municiality of Remedios, founded precisely to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the original city, keeps in its inside a wide range of liquors, all of them waiting to be tasted.
La Taberna, located on Calle Balmaseda #12, between Capa Blanca and Máximo Gómez, in one of the Parque José Martí’s corners, is the ideal place to refresh from the Caribbean sun’s intensity, accompanied by red, white or sparkling wines, from different regions, or with whiskeys and other Cuban typical drinks.
But the real charm of this place resides few meters underground, in an intimate wine cellar which invites to share and enjoy with friends. With a refreshing ambiance, and accompanied by Spanish, Chilean, Argentinean and French wines, among others, you will feel like in an old tavern, one of those inherited from Spain.
From La Taberna you can admire, everyday from 10:00 am to midnight, a significant part of Remedios’ architecture, while enjoying a pleasant drink and always with an attentive service.
